Role Overview
This position is viewed as a strategic finance business partner for the Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei region. This experienced finance professional will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth while ensuring proper controls and governance are in place, in addition to other financial responsibilities listed below.Reporting directly to this role are two finance professionals.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver financial and business objectives in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei through close partnership with VP/GMs and other functional leaders
- Conducts financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support short-term business goals and decisions
- Prepares forecasts and performs financial modeling to develop recommendations for management
- Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, HR, and other Functional teams to ensure solid execution of strategies
- Perform daily, weekly, or monthly analyses, to support achieving financial commitments
- Support the development of periodic management presentations and supporting schedules including business reviews, strategic plans, and other leadership presentations and annual plans as needed
- Manage financial compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley testing and Audit/ACA
- Develop financial strategies and measures to support growth objectives
- Manage capital requests and achieve working capital plans
- Build best teams and improve succession pipeline within finance organization
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with 10+ years of related experience.
- MBA preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in progressive accounting, financial reporting and planning in a large multi-national organization
- Ability to operate across organization boundaries and drive results in a matrixed organization
- Excellent communication skills: ability to report on analysis concisely and effectively both orally and in written format
- Strong leadership, analytical skills and sound business judgment and be comfortable working with senior management.
- Function with minimal supervision, be self-sufficient and self-starter
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP, and Microsoft Office .
