Geylang - Operations Manager (Dry Bulk)

On behalf of our client, a reputable dry bulk shipping company, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Singapore.

This is a key role within a lean and dynamic operations setup, with the successful candidate expected to take ownership of a portfolio of dry bulk vessels from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations for 5–7 Handysize vessels
Handle full post-fixture responsibilities including voyage instructions, cargo coordination, stowage, bunkering, and port agency matters
Communicate regularly with masters, agents, brokers, and charterers
Monitor voyage performance and support claims handling
Work with internal teams to finalize voyage documentation and results
Utilize IMOS for operational workflows (experience required); Shipfix or similar tools a plus

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk operations
Strong understanding of standard dry cargoes, hold cleaning, and voyage planning
Proficient in IMOS; additional tech platform familiarity is welcome
Detail-oriented with sound commercial awareness
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
