Toa Payoh - Operations Manager (Dry Bulk)

On behalf of our client, a reputable dry bulk shipping company, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Singapore.
This is a key role within a lean and dynamic operations setup, with the successful candidate expected to take ownership of a portfolio of dry bulk vessels from day one.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations for 5–7 Handysize vessels
- Handle full post-fixture responsibilities including voyage instructions, cargo coordination, stowage, bunkering, and port agency matters
- Communicate regularly with masters, agents, brokers, and charterers
- Monitor voyage performance and support claims handling
- Work with internal teams to finalize voyage documentation and results
- Utilize IMOS for operational workflows (experience required); Shipfix or similar tools a plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk operations
- Strong understanding of standard dry cargoes, hold cleaning, and voyage planning
- Proficient in IMOS; additional tech platform familiarity is welcome
- Detail-oriented with sound commercial awareness
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
