Our client is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join their team!

About Our Client

Other Information:
- Working day: 5 days
- Working Hour: 830am-6pm
- Working Location: Main office at Jurong East, Might need to travel to project site
- Salary Range: $4,000-$5,000
- Procurement Support:
- Conduct quantity take-offs, prepare bills of quantities, and manage measurement processes.
- Source and procure materials, goods, and services from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and prices to meet the project budget.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
- Coordinate with the project team to understand requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with the project team and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality and reliability.
- Estimating and Tender Support:
- Assist in the tender process under SQS guidance and report to the tender manager, which includes preparing and analyzing bidders' commercial proposals.
- Provide support in the post-contract process on the subcontractor award, preparing subcontract documents.
- Collaborate with consultants, tender teams, and commercial teams on the tender and procurement process.
- Provide site management with clear and concise tender documentation during project commencement.
- Education: Degree in Building Construction Management / Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar position in the construction industry. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.
- Skills: Experience in handling tendering, cost control, and procurement processes in the construction industry.
- Software Skills: Familiar with industry-standard software for estimating and procurement (e.g., CostX, Cubicost, etc.) would be advantageous.
