About Our Client
Our client is a leading player in the construction industry, known for its commitment to quality and innovation in project management. They are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
Other Information- Working day: 5 days
- Working Hour: 830am-6pm
- Working Location: Main office at Jurong East, Might need to travel to project site
- Salary Range: $3,500-$5,000
- Quantity measurement: Perform detailed take-offs and establish comprehensive Bills of Quantities to ensure accurate project costing.
- Vendor management: Source, review, and negotiate quotations with suppliers to optimize project costs and quality.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal and external project stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Progress evaluation: Attend project meetings and site walks to assess and evaluate progress claims, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Financial management: For senior positions, prepare monthly financial budget reports and presentations to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Tender management: Prepare RFQ Subcontract tender documents, analyze bids, and provide award recommendations to secure the best subcontractors for the project.
- Contract administration: Handle contractual documentation, correspondences, and dispute matters to maintain smooth project operations.
- Claims processing: Assess, verify, and respond to subcontractor's monthly progress claims, final accounts, and variation orders in a timely manner.
- Educational background: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Relevant experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar position within the construction industry. Experience with LTA MRT projects and major RC works is highly valued.
