Note: May be required to work on Saturdays depending on project phases
About the Role
Join a major healthcare infrastructure project and play a key role in ensuring fire safety, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness are integrated into the hospital’s design and operations from the early stages. This role is critical in supporting compliance, safety, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Fire Safety Management- Develop and oversee the organisation’s Fire Safety Management Plan
- Review building designs to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities to secure necessary approvals
- Plan and conduct fire drills, training, and awareness programmes
- Implement fire safety policies aligned with operational requirements
- Ensure infrastructure and operations comply with workplace safety regulations
- Review layouts and workflows to minimise risks and enhance safety
- Advise on safety controls, signage, and hazard prevention measures
- Develop and implement WSH policies and procedures
- Support development of emergency response strategies and plans
- Review infrastructure to ensure readiness for crisis situations
- Coordinate with stakeholders to conduct readiness assessments and drills
- Liaise with relevant authorities on compliance and licensing matters
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety standards are met
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager certification is required
- At least 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or large-scale facilities
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, building codes, and WSH regulations
- Experience in stakeholder management and regulatory compliance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
