  • Work Location: East
  • Basic Salary Up to $7000 + Competitive Staff Benefits
Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of 20 customer service staff
  • Handle Global Accounts customers correspondences
  • Quote oversea agents and intercompany office.
  • Set auto rating for import team. Cargowise knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Ensure all billing, milestones KPI is up to date on Cargowise system.
  • Submission of claim to carriers or in house insurance if there is any damages arise.
  • Monitor incoming shipments and update POD.
  • Create, distribute, and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Penetrate organizational structure and develop relationship beyond main points of contact.
  • Responsible to improve the day-to-day execution of the services delivered
  • Maintain rates and assess yields on a monthly basis.
  • Assign a corrective action to every issue/complaint and follow-up on effectiveness of corrective action to ensure client satisfaction with the resolution.
  • Manage and lead business reviews; establish a quarterly review cycle, at a minimum.
  • Ensure all company policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  • Understand customer accounts’ business strategy, objectives and risks/constraints; continually focus efforts on providing solutions to achieving objectives and mitigating risks/constraints.
  • Other duties as requested
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Higher Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field of studies
  • At least 5 to 8 years of relevant Air Import experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, managing a team of Air Freight customer service personnel
  • Proven ability to lead a team and drive KPI performance (please provide details on team size and role composition)
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end Air Import processes (Singapore local operations)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Cargowise or relevant Freight Software knowledge preferred
  • Strong time management to manage his/her work; i.e. prioritizing and planning of work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Good Interpersonal relationship, able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates and supervisors
