Toa Payoh - IT Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help shape the future of our gaming products. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between business needs, game experience, and technical implementation, translating ideas and feedback into improvements and a robust, competitive back-office system.

Working with product owner in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, you will partner closely with developers, game designers, operations, and marketing to design, develop, test, and launch compelling gaming solutions. By identifying product gaps, analyzing customer pain points, and recommending effective solutions that elevate experience, drive retention, and support the overall success of our gaming portfolio.

JOB DUTIES:

• Collaborate with stakeholders from product, operations, marketing, game design and engineering to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product enhancements.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, client feedback, and technical feasibility.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
• Define clear, cohesive functional and non-functional requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage time-integrated plans for feature development.
• Coordinate with backend, frontend, and QA teams to ensure product specifications are clearly understood and implemented.
• Drive beta and pilot programs with early adopters, gather feedback, and refine features prior to full market launch.
• Develop and monitor key product performance metrics; track usage data and customer behaviour to guide ongoing improvements.
• Actively conduct reviews, manage approvals, and sign off processes for product feature sets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, gaming innovations, and product management best practices to help strengthen the team’s deliverables.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Computing, Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, system analysis, or process reengineering.
• A proven track record of gap analysis, innovative means of problem solving, designing software products that provide clients with solutions and bringing these products live.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Hands-on and collaborative, with a proactive attitude and willingness to step in and support the team wherever needed.
• A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to proactively push work forward.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle and product management best practices.
• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking skills, and solid knowledge of the product management or business analysis methodology with the ability to learn new domains quickly.
• Exceptional communication and documentation skills, including experience writing clear requirements and presenting product visions.
• Strong communication skills in presenting visions or ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams involving engineering, design, QA, and operations.
• Good wireframing skills for idea validation of product feature and ensure requirements are clearly understood by all relevant stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and collaborate with offshore teams.

• Data analysis skills: Ability to work with raw data or datasets to extract insights, define meaningful metrics, and interpret player behaviour using the script.
• Domain knowledge or experience in the gaming industry
• A/B testing, gameplay telemetry, and player segmentation analytics.
