Senior Sales Engineer (Industrial Engineering) (Ref: 37313)

Our client is a Japanese company known for its expertise in manufacturing a wide range of products, including engines, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, energy systems, and marine equipment.
As a Senior Sales Engineer (Industrial Engineering), you will be responsible for promoting and developing sales of the company's products, including diesel engines, generator sets, industrial chillers, agricultural machinery, and marine engines, across Power Generation, Agriculture, Marine, and Industrial markets through market research and direct customer engagement.
Reports to: General Manager, Industrial ProductsDivision/Department: Industrial Products Division
【Responsibilities】- Promote the company's new products across assigned sectors.
- Conduct market surveys to identify customer needs and business opportunities.
- Engage with customers and partners to present products and drive sales.
- Identify new applications and market opportunities.
- Support technical and commercial discussions with customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align products with market requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Industrial Head of Department.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by General Manager or HOD.

(Must)
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or Power Engineering.
- At least 6 years of sales & business development in Technical/OEM products, including generator power, industrial chillers, diesel engines, or marine engines.
- Strong exposure and network within Power Generation, Agriculture, Marine, and Industrial markets
- Confident presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
- Willing and able to travel overseas to Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East regions (1-3 times per month, each trip would be 3 days to a max of 2 weeks).
- Confident to manage technical proposals and collaborate across functions.
- Independent and goal-oriented with a commercial mindset.
- Able to start work immediately is an advantage
