Sales Engineer - Semiconductor/Industrial Automation

Salary: S$3,500 - S$6,000

Our client is one of the world’s leading engineering companies in the design and manufacturing of factory automation systems such as robotics systems, auto packaging systems, automated assembly lines, and automated storage systems. They are looking for a Sales Engineer (Semiconductor/Industrial Automation) to join their Company.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries related to semiconductor equipment and industrial automation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to support conceptual design, technical proposals, and solution development.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and periodic sales reports.
• Manage projects across the entire project lifecycle, from initial enquiry and order confirmation to delivery, installation, and handover.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, production, and service teams) to ensure timely project execution.
• Work with the marketing and business development teams to identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, including regular follow-ups and site visits.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics
• 2-3 years of sales and application engineering within the semiconductor, factory automation, or robotics
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
• Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to project management within semiconductor, industrial automation, or robotic systems environments.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, site visits, or project support.

• Exposure to mechanical design and/or AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a Japanese company
