Finance Executive/ Senior Executive

We are currently seeking a Finance Executive/ Senior Executive to join eazy, with a dedicated focus on managing the fill finance operations for our sister company, Anda.

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join us as we continue to expand our operations.

Reporting to the Head of Finance

A day in the life for Executive:

• Execute and manage the day-to-day activities of the Finance team.
• Handle high-volume operational finance tasks, including premium reconciliations, agent commission processing, and monitoring of insurance premium accounts.
• Support the implementation of optimized finance procedures and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth data flow and operational efficiency.
• Utilize and maintain software systems (SAP B1), assisting in the identification of areas where automation can improve daily workflows.
• Assist in month-end closing and year-end closing.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and other relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary as necessary.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Manager.

What you need:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Business Administration or similar discipline.
• Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in full sets of accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Meticulous, responsible, organized, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and also a good team player
• Able to multi-task
• Able to manage high transaction volume and in a fast-paced environment
• Able to use SAP B1 is a plus.

A day in the life for Senior Executive:

• Oversee, lead, and manage the day-to-day activities of the Finance team.
• Support the growth of team members, by guiding and educating them to develop more profound hard skills & capabilities.
• Collaborate, communicate, and advise various departments on their existing procedures for suitability of further optimisation of finance procedures.
• Provide optimal performance of software systems through automation and customisation, by reviewing, analysing, re-developing & re-designing existing procedures and systems.
• Analyse & prepare financial reports to enable Finance Manager to make well-informed decisions for the organisation.
• Assist Finance Manager in strategizing and negotiating with various stakeholders regarding high-level business goals.
• Assist in month-end closing and year-end closing.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records and other relevant documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax agents and corporate secretary as necessary.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Manager.

What you need:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in full sets of accounts and 3 years of audit background
• Proficient in SAP B1 is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Meticulous, responsible, organized, detail oriented and good interpersonal skills
