Financial Accountant

Client specializing in large-scale renewable energy infrastructure and integrated energy systems. This is a full-time hybrid role located in Singapore, providing flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze full sets of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Record and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger postings
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes
• Support management and statutory financial reporting requirements
• Analyze financial data and identify variances or trends for reporting purposes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors where required
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and operational efficiency
• Perform ad-hoc accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus
• Proven expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Strong foundation in Finance and Analytical Skills
• Proficiency with Journal Entries and Accounting processes
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and deliver results within deadlines
• Travel to APAC countries is required
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin proficiency is a must (to facilitate communication with teams/stakeholders in China)
