The Business Development & Sales Support Senior Executive plays a key supporting role in driving sales & business development support, lead management, billing and payment administration, funding & grant support, programme coordination, and operational follow-up to ensure smooth execution of sales and business development activities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, coordination, interpersonal skills and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced education and training environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Business Development Support
- Support the Business Development & Sales team in consolidating and following up on leads for individual and corporate training programmes
- Support outreach activities, networking events, roadshows, webinars, meetings and business presentations with clients and stakeholders
- Follow up with prospective students, corporate clients and partners to support enrolment conversion and relationship development
- Lead Management & CRM Administration
- Manage incoming sales enquiries, proper assignment of leads, generate periodic lead management and sales performance reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in sales databases and CRM systems
- Track lead conversion status and support the sales team in pipeline management and follow-up activities
- Sales & Billing Administration
- Manage sales orders, invoices, receipts, maintain accurate sales and customer records
- Track payment status, follow up on outstanding payments with the BD/Sales team, and coordinate with Finance on billing reconciliation matters
- Support grant/funding administration, prepare sales and billing reports, and operational support to other Departments
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, lead and enrolment statistics reports
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of business, sales, and funding-related records
- Support internal audits, documentation processes, and operational compliance requirements
- SSG Funding & Grant Support
- Provide administrative and operational support for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding processes and grant-related matters
- Maintain proper records of funding claims, supporting documents and submissions of required funding documentation and reports
- Keep updated with government funding policies, training grants, and ensure compliance with SSG funding requirements and auditing standards
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales support, business development coordination, education and training administration
- Familiarity with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding processes and government grant administration will be an advantage
- Experience in private education or corporate training environment preferred Strong communication, coordination, customer-focused, interpersonal skills and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Comfortable handling enquiries across digital communication channels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Co-pilot and basic administrative
