As an Executive Director, you will act as a senior member of the advisory team with responsibility across origination, execution, client relationships, and team development. Your role will include:
- Lead all aspects of advisory transactions, acting as day-to-day and senior lead across origination, structuring, and execution for M&A, token, and equity transactions
- Originate new business opportunities through relationships with founders, investors, protocols, and ecosystem participants, and convert these into mandates
- Conceive, drive, and oversee the preparation of high-quality presentation materials, including information memorandums, management presentations, marketing materials, and pitchbooks
- Review, challenge, and guide the construction of complex financial models and transaction analyses, ensuring sound valuation and structuring outcomes
- Lead the design and review of token economic frameworks, token models, and whitepapers, providing strategic guidance to clients
- Evaluate new business opportunities, sector trends, and strategic initiatives, and contribute to mandate selection and firm-level priorities
- Manage multiple deal teams and parallel workstreams, ensuring timely execution, quality control, and strong client outcomes
- Mentor, train, and develop junior team members, setting standards for client coverage, strategic analysis, due diligence, and execution processes
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships and expanding Spartan’s advisory footprint
- Represent Spartan externally by actively participating in industry discussions, conferences, panels, and ecosystem events, positioning the firm as a leading Web3 advisor
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology, crypto markets, and Web3 business models, with a strong track record advising or analyzing crypto projects
- Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring skills; experience with token models and tokenomics strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with founders, executives, investors, and boards
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, advisory, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or a comparable role, with demonstrated deal leadership
- Proven ability to originate business, lead complex transactions, and manage senior stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to set direction, communicate priorities, and drive execution across internal and external teams
