BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER (SECURITIES SERVICES)- 1 Year Contract Description Our client is a global multi-asset servicing specialist dedicated to assisting clients in achieving their investment and cross-border distribution objectives.
The firm offers integrated solutions to sell-side, buy-side, and issuer clients, leveraging its extensive network and local expertise to navigate the complexities of the financial landscape Position Purpose Client Implementation team is responsible for the coordination of Onboarding/ Transitions related activities for New and Existing clients – fund administration, global custody, transfer agency, middle office outsourcing, investment analytics/ performance reporting, regulatory reporting, OTC derivatives, etc.
Client Implementation team is also responsible for the end to end coordination of new client onboarding Client Implementation team is also responsible for the end to end coordination of new client Change Requests Maintain and build a strong client service culture for all projects Ability to quickly develop relationships with external parties and clients and proactively manage issues arising from requirements, deliverables and deadlines Work independently and leverage off of internal bank colleagues for support and expertise to drive projects to successful Go Live through effective project management Proactively promote the continuous improvement of Onboarding, Transitions and Change Management documentation and procedures Responsibilities Client Implementation & Change Management Coordination of client transitions activities from initiation to go live Drive regular strategic client meetings to document and understand transitions timelines, deliverables, requirements and key dependencies Maintain existing project governance with internal business units for coordination, planning and tracking Work closely with new and existing custodians, investment managers and other third parties Ensure complete documentation for audit, control and sign off Ensure full, transparent and appropriate communication and documentation to and from stakeholders throughout the transition Undertake Post-Implementation reviews to document findings and issues to ensure continuous improvement and promote team learning Deliver transitions in line with recognised best practice methodologies (managing risk governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting and communication) Build new client relationships for onboarding acting as the single point of contact for implementation deliverables Understand client requirements and track key deliverables to closure, escalating as necessary Closely track Change requests adhering to SLAs and Stage by Stage rollout Log and track from initiation to closure, ensuring all sign offs prior to Go Live Align project deliverables with the Change Request partners in multiple locations Qualifications/ Job Requirements- Preferably Native Chinese or strong familiarity with speaking, reading and writing in business Chinese language.
- Comfortable with working independently on projects
- Ability to manage stakeholders at multiple levels both internally and externally
- Strong documentation and recording skills with an attention to detail
- Sound working knowledge of Middle Office, Asset Servicing and Custody sector
- Ability to drive agendas, meetings and assign tasks for ownership
