Purchasing and Admin Executive - Woodlands
Purchasing Planning
Support the Director in translating the company’s Purchasing Strategies and Policies into an Inventory Management Plan and Purchasing Plan
Execute the Purchasing Plan according to Company's procedures and inventory management goals.
Compliance with Company's Targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
Collaborate with Logistics on inventory management and warehouse capacity for proper stocks control.
Maintain good and timely communication with Suppliers to optimize purchasing and delivery processes.
Coordinate and support contract negotiations to ensure legal requirements are met and contracts are signed within agreed timelines.
Purchasing Activities
Manage inventory Planning and Demand Forecasting - Track inventory level and order pipelines to avoid over and under stocking situation with the Inventory Plan.
Process purchase orders in Navision and co-ordinate with Suppliers and Logistics on delivery timeline.
Implement contingency plans with regards to delayed or urgent deliveries.
Ensure quality assurance processes and liaise with Suppliers on any stock discrepancies.
Verification of Purchase Orders for Shipment clearance and payments.
Liaise and co-ordinate with Freight Forwarders and Logistics/Storage Vendors for stocks.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Prepare and support analysis reports to Management.
Identify and predict trends and patterns in data and prepare Key Inventory Analysis Metrics to derive actionable recommendations.
Admin & IT Support
Support in IT technical support.
Able to perform any additional duties assigned by Reporting Manager or Managing Director.
Knowledge and Competency:
Able to use Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics Navision. Some basic knowledge of IT skills.
Qualification
Min Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree
Specialized in Purchasing/Inventory Management or any other relevant subjects.
Experience- 5 years
