Business Development, Assistant Manager/ Manager - Pasir Ris

We’re looking for a passionate and commercially sharp Business Development, Assistant Manager/Manager to join our team - someone who thrives in the dynamic world of live events and brings both strategic and operational strength to the table.
In this role, you’ll help shape and lead key commercial initiatives, maintain strong client relationships, and support high-profile projects across Singapore and the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership- Lead business development initiatives with a focus on securing new clients, identifying growth opportunities, and forging strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with promoters, producers, and partners — becoming their go-to advisor on ticketing strategy, marketing support, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with the Head of Business Development & Marketing and CEO to shape go-to-market strategies, develop commercial structures, and explore partnership models (including API integrations and corporate tie-ups).
- Drive end-to-end deal negotiations — from pitch and proposal through to contract and renewal.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor movements to refine our value proposition and uncover new opportunities.
- Support regional and cross-border projects, collaborating closely with internal teams (Marketing, Data, Client Services, Legal and Tech) to deliver seamless partner experiences.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to partners, leveraging internal analytics and market insights.
- Represent SISTIC at relevant events and forums to build relationships and strengthen brand visibility.
- Manage and optimise sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM usage for full team visibility and tracking.
- Contribute to operational improvements - whether through process streamlining, team training, or internal best practices.
- Confidently work with Excel models and commercial analysis to evaluate deals and make informed decisions.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles -ideally in tech, media, or live experiences.
- A relationship-builder who enjoys engaging clients and can act as a strategic advisor to partners.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in structuring deals, modelling revenue, and managing negotiations.
- Proficiency in Excel - comfortable with numbers, forecasts, and commercial analysis.
- Knowledge of marketing and how to support partner success through campaigns, content, and channel planning.
- Awareness of industry trends and a genuine interest in how technology meets culture and entertainment.
- Willing to travel for regional client meetings and project needs.
