Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to fit-out and interior design projects. He/she will be responsible for pre-and-post-contract duties and is tasked with estimating costs and monitoring contracts and expenses.

• Overseeing and coordinating the bidding process from pre-qualification to submitting competitive proposal
• Engage with vendors to secure favorable costs & terms to make competitive bids
• Monitor cost to ensure projects are delivered within budget - tracking actual costs against budget, identify cost overrun and take corrective action to keep costs under control
• Manage monthly progress claims and certification for payment from client
• Value work completed by sub-contractors / vendors monthly for payment to them
• Manage contract variations
• Preparation of the final account upon completion of project
• Manage a team of junior Quantity Surveyors

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related studies.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in fit-out project.
• Good knowledge in pricing and contract management.
• Proactive, result oriented and ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
• Strong track record of overseeing and delivering fit-out projects.
