Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Job Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in cost submissions, budgeting, and contracts documentation.
• Liaise with colleagues and other departments to obtain necessary information for cost estimation.
• Assist in preparing supplier and subcontractor payment requests.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and compile tender documents for procurement and quotations.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings using PDF and/or AutoCAD.
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and preparation of variation orders under guidance of Deputy/ Contracts Manager.
• Liaise with other departments to collect information required for cost submission and procurement.
• Assist in reviewing payment requests and ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Attend site meetings for coordination of quantities and costs.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF software for quantity take-off and measurements.
• 2 to 7 years of experience in a procurement-related role or construction background preferred.
• Strong experience in contracts management, claims, and cost control.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
