Job Summary

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimation, tender submissions, contract administration, and managing project claims.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit detailed tender documentation to support successful project bids
Manage progress claims and payments, including valuation of variations and final account settlements to ensure accurate financial tracking
Collaborate effectively with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors to certify claims for payments and resolve contract issues
Administer contracts by monitoring compliance and facilitating communication between stakeholders to mitigate risks and support project delivery
Apply analytical skills to review project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and optimization
Work proactively and independently to meet tight deadlines while contributing as a collaborative team member

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a contractor

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience exceeding 2 years, considered for Senior Quantity Surveyor roles
