We are looking for a Workplace Safety and Health Officer to join our team!

As a Workplace Safety and Health Officer, we rely on you to:

• Be responsible for implementing and maintaining the resort's WSH procedures to promote a safe work environment
• Conduct incident investigations and compliance inspections with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements
• Evaluate risks associated with the hazards identified in the workplace and reports progress of corrective and preventive actions undertaken
• Conduct document reviews of Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) reports and maintain documentation
• Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment
• Plan, coordinate and deliver for WSH meetings

We are looking for someone who:

• Must possess a relevant qualification in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent recognised by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
• Is registered with MOM under the WSH Professionals Registration System (WSHPR)
• Must have a good understanding of all local safety & health regulations
• Have comprehensive knowledge of hazard identification
• Have strong interpersonal skills including in presentation, organization and attention to details
• Has relevant experiences in a hotel/resort in establishing Workplace Safety & Health Standard is an added advantage.
