We are seeking an experienced finance professional who is comfortable double-hatting – driving and overseeing accounting, reporting, and financial activities while also rolling up their sleeves for operational and treasury tasks within a dynamic organisation.

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

Manage the preparation and timely delivery of periodic financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Compliance

Ensure adherence to statutory and tax requirements, including the preparation of financial disclosures and supporting documentation. Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities as required.

Operations

Supervise daily finance operations, including receivables, payables, and cash management. Maintain effective internal controls, review transactions, and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

Analysis & Planning

Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis, performance tracking, and cash flow monitoring to aid business decisions.

Systems & Process Improvement

Review and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance finance processes and systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal guidelines.

Stakeholder Relations

Work closely with internal teams to provide financial inputs on operational matters and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Risk

Assist in coordinating audit activities and maintaining appropriate risk management and control practices

Team Supervision

Support the development and oversight of finance team members, fostering a collaborative working environment

Others

Contribute to finance projects and initiatives as required, providing analytical and execution support.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
Hands-on experience in financial operations, including payables, receivables, and cash flow management
Proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
Familiarity with internal controls, audit processes, and risk management practices
Experience in improving finance processes and systems will be an advantage
Proficient in Excel and finance/accounting systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
