Account Manager - (Public Sector IT services sales)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to build long-term client relationships, grow strategic accounts, and drive profitable business growth. This role requires a consultative sales approach, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients solve business challenges through technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow existing client accounts while ensuring strong service delivery
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities
- Develop account plans and growth strategies for assigned accounts / clusters
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver client solutions successfully
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, and business reviews
- Track market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Support and mentor junior team members where needed
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and revenue targets
- 4 years of experience in IT services sales / account management
- Strong experience in farming and growing existing accounts
- Public sector sales experience with established networks is highly preferred
- Strong strategic planning, account planning, and business development skills
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and revenue management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- Keen interest in technology trends and continuous learning
