Responsibilities
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Director of Strategy & Innovation to oversee a specialised infrastructure
and innovation organisation focused on advancing capabilities in transport technology and system development.- Define and implement long-term strategies to position the organisation as a regional leader in transport technology and applied innovation;
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient management of maintenance and testing functions;
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, safety standards, and operational workflows;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as public agencies, industry players, research institutions, and technology providers;
- Represent the organisation in technical forums, collaborative platforms, and regulatory discussions to advocate for industry development;
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts to attract new partners, projects, and clients across both public and private sectors;
- Lead and manage a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to develop a culture of innovation;
- Manage risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards.
- Tertiary education in Engineering or a related discipline;
- At least 10 to 12 years of experience in systems engineering, transportation or infrastructure;
- Deep understanding of the transportation and infrastructure industry;
- Proven track record with managing public and private sector stakeholders;
- Excellent leadership skills and communication skills;
- Business acumen and strategic thinking.
