Our client is an international fintech company specializing in digital payments, cross-border remittances, and embedded financial services. They are now seeking a dynamic and well-connected Payment Partnership Director to lead strategic alliances and expand their payment ecosystem.The Payment Partnership Director will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing key payment partnerships with banks, card networks, e-wallets, payment service providers (PSPs), and acquiring institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to build a robust payment ecosystem across local and international markets
- Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners including card schemes (Visa, Mastercard), payment gateways, acquirers, issuers, wallets, and banks
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, commercial terms, and technical integrations
- Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and technology teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and performance
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory developments in the global payments landscape
- Cultivate long-term relationships with partners to drive mutual growth and strategic alignment
- Track KPIs, optimize partnership performance, and regularly report to senior leadership on progress and ROI
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within fintech or payments
- Proven track record of building and managing payment partnerships regionally or globally
- Strong network within financial institutions, card networks, PSPs, and regulators is highly advantageous
- Deep understanding of payment processing, cross-border payments, acquiring, issuing, and settlement flows
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and across global time zones
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
