Maintenance Manager (Hotel)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee daily engineering operations and ensure the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, and structural systems are maintained at optimal standards. This role bridges technical execution and team leadership, with a strong focus on planning, contractor management, and operational efficiency.

• Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure smooth execution of engineering activities
• Plan duty rosters and manage team attendance and task allocation
• Conduct daily briefings and assign work schedules to technical staff
• Monitor utilities readings and equipment performance (e.g., generator systems)
• Coordinate and follow up with contractors for servicing and repair works
• Inspect M&E systems, including rooftop and high-level equipment
• Support minor projects, seasonal works, and maintenance initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team
• Ensure timely reporting and escalation of issues

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hotel engineering or facilities management
• Proven experience in team leadership and contractor/vendor management
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
