Social Worker-SBHL[East/ Degree in Social Work (registered Social Worker is preffered]

Position Overview:

As a Social Worker, you will be working directly with youths and their families within the community. Your focus will be on providing meaningful interventions, strengthening reintegration efforts, and fostering positive youth development through collaborative case management and stakeholder engagement.

Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as assigned by supervisors or management.

Technical Competencies:

• Solid understanding of relevant social work theories and assessment tools.
• Ability to design case plans that are both practical and outcome-focused.
• Adherence to professional standards and organizational protocols.

Core Competencies:

• Genuine passion for youth development and rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with youth and stakeholders.
• Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain thorough documentation.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the social service sector or a similar youth-focused environment.
• Familiarity with clinical social work practices and a desire to further develop therapeutic skills.
• Enthusiastic about working with at-risk youth and contributing positively to their growth and reintegration.
