Business Development Director
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management
Serve as the senior liaison between Apple, managing and enhancing the strategic customer relationship.Attend regular executive meetings with Apple to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Commercial Negotiation & Contract Management
Lead key commercial negotiations and manage contracts such as Annual Pricing Agreements (APA) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA).Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure all terms are compliant, reasonable, and enforceable.
Business Strategy & Revenue OwnershipDevelop and execute annual revenue and margin plans for the Apple account; lead the team to achieve business KPIs.
Oversee critical metrics including profit margin, inventory turnover, and payment cycle.
Cross-Functional Project Coordination
Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery of customer projects.Drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process in sync with Apple’s product launch schedules.
Market & Competitive IntelligenceMonitor Apple’s global business trends and evolving needs to inform internal strategies.
Analyze competitor performance in Apple-related business and optimize Foxconn’s partnership positioning.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, International Trade, Electronic Engineering, or related fields; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
10+ years of commercial management experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, including at least 5 years of direct account management experience with Apple or other Tier-1 customers.
Deep understanding of EMS business models and experience in leading large-scale commercial operations.
Skills & Competencies: Strong client management and cross-cultural communication skills; capable of negotiating with C-level stakeholders.
Proficient in contract negotiation, cost structure analysis, and supply chain collaboration.Results-driven, resourceful, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written); knowledge of Vietnamese or Hindi is a plus.Other Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently or be based at customer locations (e.g., Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Bac Ninh, Chennai, etc.).
