Geylang - Senior / Project Manager, M&E
We're Hiring: M&E Senior / Project Manager
Location: Singapore | Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented M&E professional passionate about delivering high-quality interior fit-out and construction projects? Join us to lead end-to-end Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works, from design coordination to final handover.
- Key Competencies & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate M&E system installations (including ACMV and electrical services) to ensure alignment with design specifications, Singapore codes (e.g. CP5), and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and resolving technical challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Project & Schedule Management
- Monitor project milestones and timelines, proactively managing risks and delays with appropriate mitigation plans.
- Lead the testing, commissioning, and handover process with full documentation and client acceptance.
- Problem-Solving & Operational Excellence
- Act as the first responder to on-site electrical and mechanical issues, delivering fast, practical solutions without compromising design or deadlines.
- Investigate incidents and submit incident reports where required, ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with interior designers, consultants, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems into the broader fit-out works.
- Provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Project Closure & Documentation
- Lead the preparation of as-built documentation, manuals, and client training (if applicable) during the project close-out phase.
- Ensure that all M&E deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- What You Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Solid experience managing M&E installations, ideally within interior fit-out or design & build environments.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Power Grid, local codes, and M&E regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in supervising ACMV and electrical works with a focus on safety, workmanship, and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with high attention to detail.
