About the role

An established and growing group in the premium lifestyle retail and wellness sector is seeking a meticulous, independent, and experienced Senior HR & Payroll Executive. Taking full ownership of daily operations, this role focuses heavily on end-to-end payroll processing, complex commission structures, workforce administration, and recruitment.

You will act as a key operational anchor, working closely with business partners, retail operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless HR delivery across multiple commercial outlets.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage full-spectrum, end-to-end monthly payroll processing for retail and operational headcount using cloud-based HRMS
  • Accurately compute monthly staff sales commissions, overtime, incentives, expense claims, and time-attendance data
  • Handle all statutory submissions including CPF contributions, IR8A preparation, and tax clearance (IR21/IRAS filings)
  • Oversee the lifecycle of work pass administration, including applications, renewals, and cancellations via MOM portals, ensuring strict alignment with local employment regulations
  • Act as the primary bridge between the retail operations team and finance department for smooth cross-sharing of attendance and payout data
  • Draft and issue standard corporate letters, including employment contracts, confirmation letters, promotion notifications, other HR related letters and reviews
  • Maintain and organize secure electronic and physical employee personnel files in line with data protection guidelines
  • Administer government-paid leave schemes and track staff welfare initiatives, including employee rewards and voucher distribution
  • Support line managers with the retail recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
About you
  • Minimum Dip or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 to 4 years of hands-on payroll and operational HR experience, with proven experience handling retail commission structures, FMCG, F&B, or service-oriented sectors
  • Strong mastery of modern, cloud-based HRMS platforms and an advanced working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail, capable of working independently with minimal supervision to meet tight payroll deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle inquiries confidently and professionally from both retail outlet staff and senior stakeholders
  • A high degree of integrity, maturity, and absolute discretion in handling confidential personnel data
  • Ability to start on short notice or immediate availability is highly advantageous
