ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Responsible for defining Lonsdale’s creative standards and strategic focus. Accountable for building and managing the creative team. Establish and develop Lonsdale’s personality, perspective and purpose.

• Drive the quality of work produced internally
• Make decisions that ensure organizational profitability without compromising the creative quality of projects, continually improving creative standards and enhancing design capabilities to achieve objectives
• Manage the agency’s reputation and promote its work and message externally
• Understand clients’ business, industry and needs at the highest level
• Define and approve strategy and design outcome for pitches

Communication :

• Tell a design story in your presentations
• Be a confident presenter at client meetings and provide clear, strategic rationale

• Make important decisions regarding design and strategy during reviews and presentations
• Deliver constructive feedback and design critiques by offering guidance rather than giving orders
• Provide direction through objectives, not through execution
• Allow people to be themselves and approach the project in their own way, while guiding them toward the outcome you, as the leader, need them to achieve
• Find ways to motivate and inspire the team and the client
• Build strong relationships with clients so that you become the person they want to work with
