About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on HR Executive to oversee day-to-day HR operations for our Singapore retail business. This role is responsible for end-to-end HR administration including work pass management, compliance matters, and employee lifecycle processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & HR Operations
  • Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and maintain employee records
  • Manage onboarding and exit processes including documentation and system updates
  • Handle employee enquiries and provide HR support to operations teams
  • Support disciplinary processes where required
Work Pass Management
  • Handle foreign work pass applications, renewals and cancellations
  • Monitor work pass validity and quota utilisation
  • Liaise with MOM on manpower-related matters pertaining to work pass holders
Recruitment Coordination
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings and interview arrangements
  • Screen applications and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Insurance & Claims
  • Coordinate insurance matters for retail shops and employees
  • Liaise with insurance brokers and service providers
  • Monitor policy renewals and documentation
HR Compliance & Administration
  • Support government-related submissions (e.g., OED, surveys, reporting)
  • Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with local employment regulations
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years HR experience
  • Familiar with MOM work pass application procedures
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
Preferred
  • Experience in retail or F&B industry will be an advantage
  • Experience handling foreign workforce will be an advantage
