Lead Associate (Corporate Communications)
SAFRA National Service Association Bukit Merah Full-time
We are looking for a dynamic communications specialist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of NSmen and their families.
This position will plan and manage impactful publicity campaigns that amplify the community’s heartfelt appreciation to NSmen for defending Singapore, our loved ones and way of life. The successful candidate will also be involved in conceptualizing and developing meaningful communication initiatives to celebrate SAFRA’s journey alongside our NSmen as we mark our 55th anniversary next year.
Some of the key projects include:
- Appreciating NSmen Deals – You will plan and execute concerted publicity campaigns across digital media advertising channels (e.g. FB, IG, GDN), SAFRA channels and partners’ networks, to maximise awareness of the wide variety of deals on products and services which NSmen can enjoy at SAFRA clubs and participating merchants islandwide that provide them with greater savings. You will work with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure that these deals are listed on the SAFRA website and mobile app so that NSmen can easily access them.
- Appreciating NSmen Tray Mats / Product Packaging – You will work with supporting merchants to customise the design of their F&B tray mats or product packaging as an avenue to express appreciation to NSmen, publicise special deals offered to NSmen, and engage the public at their outlets islandwide.
- Appreciating NSmen Art Jam – You will work with partners and appointed vendors to update the narratives and real-life stories in prescribed lesson plans to educate preschool children about NS and the important role of NSmen across the six Services. This also includes designing a simple art activity during which preschool children can make appreciation gifts for their fathers. You will reach out to preschool brands across Singapore to encourage their participation in the initiative by incorporating the lesson plan within their curriculum in the lead-up to SAF Day and National Day.
- Appreciating NSmen Video Competition – You will plan and execute publicity campaigns to encourage secondary, junior college and tertiary students to participate in the competition by producing short 60 to 90-second videos that pay tribute to the contributions of NSmen. You will maximise public visibility of the winning videos through digital advertising and leveraging SAFRA channels and partners’ networks, along with contests to encourage the public to express their personalised appreciation to NSmen.
- Appreciating Package for Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) – You will manage the development of supporting publicity collaterals (e.g. posters, flyers, e-vouchers, redemption passports) for various batches of NSFs who are about to reach their Operationally Ready Date to generate awareness of the package offerings so that they can benefit from it.
- SAFRA’s 55th Anniversary – You will be part of the working group to propose and drive communication initiatives to celebrate SAFRA’s corporate journey and highlight how our efforts have made a meaningful impact in the lives of NSmen and their families. This may include the development of a commemorative SAFRA55 logo, along with stories and videos highlighting real-life accounts from NSmen. You will also plan and execute concerted publicity campaigns across digital media advertising channels, onsite branding at SAFRA clubs, and internal platforms, to brand various commemorative activities and promotions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mass communications or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience in driving through-the-line publicity campaigns involving digital media advertising and collateral development.
- Experience in corporate branding and public relations will be advantageous.
