About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Executive to join our travel agency team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, supporting travel bookings, coordinating with sub-agencies, and ensuring a smooth customer service experience from enquiry to booking confirmation.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys communicating with customers, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer enquiries through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, WeChat, and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate information on travel packages, flight arrangements, hotels, tours, visa requirements, and related travel services.
- Follow up with potential customers and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Process travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, tour packages, transport, insurance, and other travel arrangements.
- Coordinate closely with sub-agencies, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and local operators.
- Prepare quotations, booking confirmations, invoices, and travel-related documents.
- Ensure all booking details are accurate and properly recorded.
- Support customers before, during, and after their travel arrangements.
- Maintain good relationships with customers, sub-agencies, and business partners.
- Assist with sales reports, customer records, and general administrative tasks when required.
- Diploma or above in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tourism company, sales, or customer service role will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking customers and partners.
- Strong customer service mindset and willingness to follow up with enquiries.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple bookings at the same time.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems, airline reservations, or tour operations will be an advantage.
