Job Description

ANR Technologies is looking for a motivated, resourceful, and relationship-focused Sales Executive to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with researchers, scientists, lab managers, and R&D teams to understand their research needs and provide practical solutions across scientific products, lab consumables, custom equipment, sourcing, testing, and technical services.

At ANR, we help researchers save time, reduce procurement friction, and access solutions that support their experiments and research progress. Our offerings include lab sourcing and procurement, design and customization, equipment, and distributorship of various scientific products.

The successful candidate should be consultative, responsive, organized, and comfortable managing both new opportunities and long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with researchers, scientists, professors, lab managers, procurement teams, and R&D customers. Serve as a trusted point of contact who understands their research needs, timelines, and constraints.

Consultative Sales & Solution Matching

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services from ANR’s offering, including lab consumables, scientific equipment, customized setups, testing/characterization services, procurement support, and research-related solutions.

Account Development

Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through repeat orders, upselling, cross-selling, and introducing customers to relevant ANR services and product lines such as battery research consumables, electrochemical cells, electrodes, flow cells, and in-situ research accessories.

New Business Development

Develop new customer accounts across universities, research institutes, start-ups, R&D companies, and industrial labs. Follow up on leads from conferences, referrals, inbound enquiries, marketing campaigns, and existing networks.

Customer Experience & After-Sales Support

Provide prompt follow-up on enquiries, quotations, order status, delivery updates, and post-sales issues. Coordinate internally to ensure customers receive a smooth, reliable, and hassle-free experience.

CRM & Sales Reporting

Maintain accurate customer records, lead status, sales activities, quotations, follow-ups, and account notes in the CRM system. Provide regular sales updates, pipeline reports, and market feedback to management.

Internal Coordination

Work closely with operations, sourcing, purchasing, logistics, finance, marketing, and technical teams to deliver the right solution to customers. Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled accurately.

Payment & Collection Follow-Up

Coordinate with customers and the finance team to follow up on outstanding payments professionally and ensure timely collection.

Market & Product Awareness

Stay updated on ANR’s product offerings, supplier capabilities, customer needs, and trends in R&D fields such as battery research, energy storage, electrochemistry, materials science, catalysis, and lab automation.

Requirements
  • A science, engineering, chemistry, materials science, battery, electrochemistry, or lab-related background is a strong advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently with researchers, scientists, and technical customers
  • Consultative sales mindset: able to ask good questions, understand customer pain points, and recommend practical solutions
  • High integrity, accountability, resilience, and ownership
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in CRM updates and follow-up work
  • Comfortable handling quotations, customer enquiries, sales targets, and payment follow-ups
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to handle rejection positively
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams
  • Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an advantage for communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers or customers
