Senior Finance Officer [Accounts Payable] | Logistics/Freight Forwarding Industry / 5 days / $4k [0580]

Working days: 5 days, 8:15am – 5:30pm

Location: Toh Guan(Jurong East)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily AP Team operations.
• Review accounts payable (AP) payments and monthly statement of account reconciliation.
• Post AP transactions / journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, and bank transactions.
• Reconcile and follow-up on monthly internal division transactions and their settlements.
• Troubleshoot TenderBoard GRN errors and review the report for SAP posting.
• Review & approve all the AP related documents / payment vouchers.
• Review & finalize quarterly GST reports (Form 5 IRAS) for submission and provide MES renewal support.
• Monitor monthly account closing and ensure all the expenses are completely recorded.
• Analyze monthly profit & loss report fluctuation for all divisions.
• Monitor balance sheet items and follow-up with the respective PIC on outstanding items.
• Review manual invoices for related entities to recover expenses under special arrangements.
• Assist with treasury functions including cash flow analysis and renewal of bank guarantees.
• Provide support to team members and operations staff with AP-related issues and advice on accounting codes.
• Support the portfolio of other team members through a buddy system.
• Handle internal and external audits.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Manager / HOD.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy / Business Finance
• Five (5) years of hands-on experience in accounting on Accounts Payable and keeping full set of accounts
• Basic tax (GST) knowledge
• Experience in both shared service and freight forwarding & logistics
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and SAP accounting system
