We're partnering with a renowned container shipping company that’s charting bold growth across global trade routes. They're seeking a commercially astute Vice President, Container Chartering to lead their chartering strategy and drive vessel optimization across their liner network.

What You’ll Do:

• Spearhead all container vessel chartering activity – both inbound and outbound
• Identify, negotiate, and secure optimal tonnage to meet commercial and operational goals
• Monitor vessel markets and trends to inform strategy and timing
• Strengthen partnerships with brokers, owners, and shipyards across global markets
• Work cross-functionally with trade, fleet, and ops teams to align vessel availability with network plans
• Contribute to long-term fleet evolution, including charter planning and newbuild opportunities
• Represent the business in strategic discussions to secure competitive commercial terms

What We’re Looking For:

• 10–15+ years of experience in container vessel chartering with a shipowner, operator, or line
• Strong commercial mindset and deep knowledge of time charter deals and vessel economics
• Active network across shipbrokers, shipowners, and yards
• Prior exposure to fleet development and newbuilding strategies
• Confident leadership in fast-paced, high-stakes commercial environments
