Finance Executive - Tampines

We are seeking a meticulous and self-driven Finance Executive to manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions at Changi Beach Club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and support for management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation).
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts and submission of reports to management and external stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor actual vs. budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Cash Flow & Treasury
- Manage daily cash flow and banking transactions.
- Liaise with banks on account matters and monitor fund transfers.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operational needs.
- Audit & Taxation
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents during statutory audits and filings.
- Ensure compliance with IRAS and other regulatory bodies (GST, Corporate Tax, etc.).
- Maintain proper documentation for audit trail and statutory purposes.
- Internal Controls & Compliance
- Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard the Club’s assets.
- Ensure compliance with club policies, financial regulations, and governance standards.
- Membership Billing & Collection
- Manage member billing cycles, payment collection, and statement generation.
- Handle queries on membership fees, arrears, and reconciliations.
- Procurement & Inventory Support
- Work with departments to ensure proper procurement procedures.
- Assist in asset and inventory tracking and costing.
- Other Ad Hoc Duties
- Support the General Manager and committees in financial planning and decision support.
- Participate in system enhancements, SOP updates, or other finance-related projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of full-set accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or club management.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
