Role Overview

The Business Development Manager– Beauty will be responsible for developing Catalent’s Beauty business in Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea. The role combines management of an existing portfolio, daily commercial, operational and coordination execution, and selective opening of new doors with premium global, regional and national Beauty brands.

This is a hands-on, senior commercial role requiring both disciplined account management and targeted business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own commercial development in Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition and strategic prospecting.
  • Identify and close large, high-potential opportunities aligned with Catalent Beauty’s vision.
  • Develop high-level commercial relationships with C-level or senior decision-makers in target beauty/skincare brands.
  • Lead complex negotiations in coordination with legal, finance, and operations teams.
  • Build and execute customer strategies with cross-functional input (R&D, Supply, Marketing).
  • Representing Catalent Beauty in key trade shows and industry events as a senior commercial voice.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to help refine go-to-market strategy.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 8–10 years of business development experience in Consumer Health, ideally beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or CDMO industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new business and negotiating high-value deals.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with excellent presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong structuring skills, disciplined pipeline management and reliable forecasting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior customer stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed and international environment
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and results oriented.
