Operations Executive / Manager (Asset Management & Capital Markets)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Executive / Manager to support our Asset Management and Capital Markets activities within an External Asset Management (EAM) platform. This role will focus on trade lifecycle management, portfolio operations, and coordination across multiple counterparties and markets.

• Manage the full trade lifecycle across asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, funds, and structured products), including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation
• Liaise with custodian banks, prime brokers, counterparties, and fund administrators to ensure timely execution and settlement of trades
• Monitor portfolio positions, cash balances, and margin requirements, including support for leveraged positions and financing arrangements
• Perform daily reconciliations (trades, positions, cash, and NAV where applicable) and investigate discrepancies
• Support capital markets activities, including primary issuances, secondary market trades, and corporate actions
• Coordinate subscriptions/redemptions for funds and alternative investments, including hedge funds and private markets
• Track and process corporate actions, income events, and lifecycle events (coupon payments, maturities, early redemptions)
• Assist in portfolio reporting, performance analytics, and client statements
• Support new product onboarding and ensure operational readiness for new instruments or strategies
• Work closely with Compliance to ensure adherence to MAS regulatory and reporting requirements
• Identify operational risks and implement process improvements and automation initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–4+ years of operations experience in asset management, capital markets, private banking, or EAM
• Strong understanding of multi-asset products including equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, and funds
• Familiarity with trade settlement cycles, corporate actions, and capital markets workflows
• Experience with custodians, prime brokers, and trading platforms
• Knowledge of portfolio and risk monitoring, including margin and exposure management
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience supporting hedge funds, discretionary portfolios, or active trading strategies
• Understanding of derivatives, structured products, and financing/margin mechanics
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory environment and operational controls
