Bukit Merah - Deputy/ Assistant Manager - Facilities Management

The Role

Assist Facility Management HOD in managing the efficient and effective operation and upkeep the properties, plant and equipment. Coordinate engineering works – additions, alterations, renovations, repairs and maintenance.

• Priorities work scheduling, through delegation, ensuring at all times, patient care and comfort is the first concern.
• Ensures, through subordinates, that all physical plant equipment is kept in the best operating condition possible.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, initiates promotions, demotions, termination & etc.
• Make contacts with vendors and sub-contractors at work to be done or equipment to be purchased
• Executes projects to complete within contractual requirements.
• Deputies as the Facility Management HOD in his/her absence.

• A diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus (5) years experiences in hospital environment of preferable
• Well-versed in the Authorities’ regulations and requirements.
• Able to bond a good relationship with doctors, patient and senior management staff.
• Able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
