Job Summary

Ensure that hospital’s operations IT software and hardware remain functional and accessible for all hospital employees. By creating Operations system support tickets and working to resolve them. Technicians reduce lost work time due to computer issues, increasing productivity and efficiency.
The advice they provide can allow our operations team to fully utilize computer systems to maximize your company’s return on investment in new technology. Support staff get new employees up and running on the software they need to complete their assigned job duties.

Technicians may spot signs of hardware problems before they escalate, allowing your company to replace aging equipment before failures occur.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
  • Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
  • Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
  • Providing technical support when requested.
  • Documenting any processes which employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing system.
  • Strong oral communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills to create useful support logs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
  • Time management skills to provide updates and fixes within a promised time frame.
  • Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once.
  • Observational skills to recognize warning signs that indicate potential problems.
  • Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information systems or information technology with at least 2-3 years of healthcare administrative experience.
  • High-level knowledge of commonly used software, hardware and applications
  • Experience in using Microsoft 365 suite of software and tools, SAP and other IT Systems for operations such as CCTV, Access Control, Visitor Management, Procurement, Data Analytics.
  • Basic understanding in healthcare subsidies is a bonus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A team player with initiative and excellent service attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines.
  • Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
