Role & Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations & Strategy- Execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier reliability.
- Manage sourcing activities, RFQs, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material and service requirements and ensure timely and accurate procurement.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost developments to identify savings or alternative sources.
- Evaluate, onboard, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality standards, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
- Conduct regular supplier reviews, track performance metrics (KPIs), and work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build a reliable supplier base to ensure supply continuity and minimize risk.
- Ensure procurement practices comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Support supplier risk assessments and contribute to mitigation plans for critical supply chain risks.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of contracts, supplier certifications, and audit records.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, value analysis, and demand aggregation.
- Identify opportunities for process automation or digital procurement tools to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Work closely with Finance and Operations to monitor budgets, forecast spending, and support working capital optimization.
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure alignment of procurement with operational needs.
- Participate in cross-functional projects such as new product launches, vendor transitions, and inventory optimization.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, price files, and vendor databases.
- Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review (e.g., cost trends, savings tracking, lead times, and fulfillment rates).
- Support periodic reviews and audits with clear documentation and data accuracy.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain—preferably within the FMCG, food, or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
- Familiarity with sourcing from both local and international markets.
- Working knowledge of procurement systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and Excel-based analysis.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in procurement compliance, contract management, and audit readiness is a plus.
