Bukit Batok - Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Executive

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Executive to join our operations in the Tuas South Region. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement function and ensuring the efficient sourcing and acquisition of materials, goods and services to support the company's daily operations.

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the company's operational and financial objectives
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supplier performance monitoring
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials and services
• Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for money while maintaining high quality standards
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with a network of reliable suppliers
• Monitor and analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Implement robust procurement policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Supervise, mentor and develop the procurement team to build a high-performing and customer-focused function

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process efficiencies through strategic procurement initiatives
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve procurement-related issues
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a procurement team
• Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
