Responsibilities:
Mental Health Support & Early Intervention- Identify, assess, and support employees experiencing stress, fatigue, emotional distress, or work-related challenges
- Provide individual and group-based support sessions on coping strategies, stress management, and emotional wellbeing (within non-clinical boundaries)
- Monitor cases, recommend appropriate interventions, and maintain confidential documentation
- Design, implement, and review preventive mental health and wellbeing initiatives
- Develop and disseminate mental health education materials for employees
- Train supervisors and Care Support Officers (CASOs) to recognise early signs of mental distress and conduct supportive conversations
- Advise leaders on people management and staff welfare practices
- Coordinate with internal and external professionals to address workforce needs
- Provide psychological first-line support following critical incidents
- Conduct follow-up support and monitor recovery progress
- Escalate emergency cases and advise management, prioritising employee safety
- Liaise with external healthcare providers and community agencies for specialised referrals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across depots, HR, Safety, Training, and Operations
- Prepare monthly management reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field
- Registered member of the Singapore Psychological Society
- Minimum 5 years of professional counselling or mental health-related experience
- Prior experience supporting frontline, shift-based, transport, uniformed or safety-critical workforce is highly advantageous
- Strong counselling and case management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive information confidentially
- Resilient, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
- Sound judgement in balancing employee wellbeing with operational requirements
