The Red Pencil (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character and a registered charity founded in Singapore with a mission to bring the benefits of creative arts therapy (drawing, music, movement and dance) to less privileged children, adults and families who have been through overwhelming and traumatic life circumstances such as life-threatening illness, violence and abuse for which they may have no words.
About The Role
The Administrative & Programme Executive will provide support for the successful delivery of the creative arts therapy programme to enhance mental wellbeing of the vulnerable community. The role requires effective coordination of the programme’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies, including oversight of any risks and issues arising.
Key responsibilities- Provide administrative, financial, and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of the charity programmes
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, programme evaluation reports, funding acquittals, and follow-up communications to support partnership development with partner organisations and creative arts therapists.
- Collate and prepare budget reports
- Support procurement processes and manage donations-in-kind.
- Compile, maintain, and organise programme data, spreadsheets and statistics.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scheduling appointments, running errands, and maintaining office organisation.
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational, administrative skills and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Take initiative, prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively within a small, dynamic and collaborative team environment
- Receptive to guidance, feedback and continuous learning
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and sound judgment
