Summary

We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer (L1) to provide first-line support for our network infrastructure. The role involves basic configuration and troubleshooting of network switches, routers, and connectivity issues, as well as assisting with day-to-day operational tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CCNA-certified engineer to gain hands-on experience in both wired and wireless networking.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic configuration of switches and routers.
Set up and troubleshoot VLANs and port security.
Assist in diagnosing connectivity issues for laptops, desktops, and servers.
Trace physical network connections and identify switch ports.
Support network monitoring and incident escalation processes.
Work with senior engineers on routine maintenance and upgrades.
Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Networking, Information Technology, or related field.
Min 1 year experience.
CCNA certification preferred.
Basic understanding of switching and routing concepts.
Familiarity with VLAN configuration, spanning tree protocol, and port security.
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity issues.
Have exposure to OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
Knowledge of 802.1x authentication.
Experience tracing endpoints in Layer 2 switch environments.
