Responsibilites
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless,Tacacs, and Firewall.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, ACI, Cato Remote VPN, and Akamai Guardicore Microsegmentation.
- Support network upgrades and migrations, including planning, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support system integration and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, IP addressing, and change logs.
- Respond to incidents and outages, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Proven hands-on network operation and engineering experience is a must
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics and network analytics tools
- Strong Knowledge in network design including round, switching and security
- Experience in enterprise network architecture planning or design concepts such as network segmentation or network segregation is mandatory.
- Experience managing SDN Soluon (E.g. Cisco ACI), Firewall and Load Balancers would be required.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Team player and self motivated
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
- A pragmatic and flexible mindset to succeed in an ever-changing and dynamic environment
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Ability to proactively carry out task independently
- At Least 5 years of experience in Network Infrastructure operation, design and build, project implementation and delivery.
- Proven operational experience in managing Network and security operations.
- Experience in managing network components like Cisco ACI, Forney Firewall, F5 Load Balancers, DNS, Aruba Wireless, Aruba Clearpass, and Solarwinds are essential.
- Professional certification is essential. E.g. CCNP.
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- Programming Skills with Python will be advantage
