Customer service executive

Job Description

The Customer Service Executive is responsible for providing post-sales support with focus on tender preparation and submission. He/She is also expected to execute inventory management plans that will enable the company to meet sales and service objectives.

• Handle end-to-end preparation, compilation and submission of tender documents via respective platforms before deadlines
• Work closely with internal teams (warehouse, operations, sales, technical and finance) to resolve customer and supplier issues promptly
• Analyze historical sales trends, plan inventory purchases and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment
• Coordinate shipment pre-alerts, inbound goods inspection and handle any shipment related issues
• Procure new items by working closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, source, negotiate, validate, setup, purchase and follow through till final goods receipt
• Ensure proper record-keeping in conformance to GDPMDS
• Act as backup for other team members, as and when required

• Possess sense of urgency and able to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Analytical, systematic and meticulous
• Possess good initiative, with desire for continuous learning

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline
• Competent in Microsoft Office (especially MS-Excel) applications
• Previous work experience in using SAP B1 will be advantageous
