Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer

Position Overview

Experience in the power plant industry or large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.

• Project Management:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
• Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
• Liaising/ collaborating with Local Authorities and Regulators in the consultations, submissions, and securing the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Provide progress updates to leadership.
• Technical Support:
• Prepare project technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and liaise with vendors and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements.
• Ensure contractors fulfil statutory obligations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
• Prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and support audits.
• Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, regulators, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with 5-8 years power plant or industrial project experience will have an advantage.

• Skills:
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with modern engineering software/tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, covering both site-based and desk-bound tasks.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Standards, Codes of Practice, and statutory requirements.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
